There are two kinds of recycled film: PCR and PIR.
PCR, or post-consumer recycled resins, are re-pelletized plastic resins that are sourced from plastic materials that have reached the end of their lives as consumer products.
PIR, or post-industrial recycled resins, are sourced from materials used in industrial applications.
Recycled plastic resins can be used in varying amounts to substitute virgin resins to reduce the total demand for virgin resin production, leading to more environment-friendly package and product. Our PCR shrink film has acquired GRS certificate and the recycled percentage is 30% and more.
