Full Biodegradability
Conventional PE shrink film can persist in the environment for hundreds of years, contributing to plastic pollution. In contrast, Sunward biodegradable PE shrink film is designed to have minimal impact on environment. It will biodegrade within 32 months to water, carbon dioxide and biomass without any microplastic and toxic substance left behind. Studies proves microplastic will contaminate soil and waterways and eventually enter our food chain to harm our health.
Other biodegradation e.g., compostable needs to manage plastic waste. Plastic waste needs to be collected and degrade in a specific condition i.e., industrial or house composting facilities. Sunward biodegradation targets on unmanaged plastic waste. The film will biodegrade in open-air terrestrial environment without any human interference.
Premium Mechanical Properties:
Shrinkability-Sunward biodegradable PE shrink film is highly shrinkable at machine direction when heat is applied, allowing it to conform tightly to the shape of products. It is especially suits for food & beverage industry as sleeve or label.
Durability- Sunward biodegradable PE shrink film offers good tensile strength and puncture resistance, which helps protect products against dust, moisture, damage or contamination during transportation and handling.
Variety of thickness-The available thickness is 40, 50, 80, 90, which can meet the wide range of packaging requirments.
Thin gauge, i.e., 40 micron is commonly used for lightweight and small products, as well as for bundling multiple items together. It is a cost-effective packaging solution.
Standard gauge, i.e., 50, 80, 90, are commonly used in food packaging, consumer goods, and industrial products. It provides good strength and protection.
